Towers
Urban Matter
Shinar’s gaze wanders through Tel Aviv’s hidden corners, from rusty rooftops and antennas to the sidewalks below. His paintings document the city’s 'urban matter' before it fades, using a bright, pastel palette to capture the iconic light of the 'White City.' In contrast, dark towers loom like heavy, 'blind' monuments, subtly touching on themes of social gaps and polarization.
